Lexie Update

You guys have been asking about Lexie. Well, we've been majorly busy with her and her site. So far she's a dream. Finding cute girls who'll get naked is no where near as challenging as finding girls who instinctively know how to move for the camera. Lexie is a natural.

Not many girls out there who instinctively can get naked in front of a couple of guys armed with cameras, stick their ass in the air and remember to smile and have that "fuck me" look all at the same time with virtually no instruction.

We've also thrown in a couple of videos where she's actually working to the video camera. For the record, she hates those. As much as she is a natural when playing to the still camera, she doesn't yet feel comfortable working to the video camera. She's still better than most considering she's 18 and has zero experience. And we hope she'll warm up to it and provide us with some really hot footage soon.

We Said Model, Not Ho!

This week's audition fun continues....

So we had another girl contact us this week wanting to shoot. She sent us a couple of pics and said her name was "Star". You can learn a lot about these girls just from the name they give. The raw amateurs will give their real name. Those who have really thought about it and dream of being a star will give a porn sounding name. And then there's the strippers. "Star" is definitely a stripper name, or at least that's what we thought.

The pics looked, well, slutty. But hey, that can be a good thing in our business. We went into this one guessing that we'd have to reminder her to wear underwear and be waiting for her to take a Marlboro break between every set. No signs of the dreaded tattoos at least.

We staked out a spot at our local coffee shop and starting taking turns seeing who could find the most disgusting picture on the web while surfing and killing time. We were about to yarp from looking at pics of diseased gonads and prolapsed rectums, when this, this this, "car" pulls up. Have you ever seen a early 80's Cadillac Brougham in something just this side of Barney the Dinosaur purple with gold trim and 6 inch white walls? We did today.

Out gets our girl on one side, dressed in attire that would put Joan and Melissa Rivers into immediate cardiac arrest. And on the other side, well, imagine if Snoop Dogg went on about a 72 hour bender. This is her "chaperon". The suit matched the car, I shit you not. We're talking purple with some wide yellow pinstripes. And where in the fuck does a brother go to buy some baby shit yellow faux alligator skin shoes?

We're not sure what's coming next, but we're pretty sure this isn't what we're looking for. Brother man is introduced to us as "Shawan". No, that aint a typo. His girl spoke very fluent ghetto ebonics, so she was able to translate it into something a couple of fat white boys could understand. Turns out, they were figuring this was going to be a shoot with a "happy ending" for both of us.

Now we're not beyond shooting an escort, but really, all we want to do is shoot it. We're pro's, we're not looking to get our knobs washed, and we're sure not looking to get it from what appears to be a street ho. And in this case we had a fast talking jive ass high pressure pimp who has pretty well assured we wont be showing our face in one of our favorite coffee shops for a long time.

Rough Week for Auditions

We have several new models we need to audition. This week's batch was, uhm, interesting.

First off, we have the girl we've been referring to internally as "ass girl". Ya see, a lot of times we get referrals that include pics but not a name. We sometimes dont get that til we actually meet the girl. So they often end up with internal nicknames we use to make sure we know which one we're referring to. Sometimes those names stick much longer than the ladies would like.

In this case, we received a couple of pics that were low quality but showed some potential. Her best asset was a hellacious ass. We're talking an ass upon which you could easily rest a beer. She's in college but a wild one willing to do hardcore.

So we setup a meet for lunch. She shows up dressed in her best slut attire to impress us. Turns out she's a tad thick and has man hands and even a bit of a manly face. No problem, though we wanna shoot, we do our deal and setup something tenatively for later in the week.

She calls before the shoot saying she's been talking to others and that our deal is week and she needs more money. She's asking the type of money that A-list pornstars who have already made a name for themselves draw from the major studios in Cali. If a girl flakes once, she'll flake again. We generally cut 'em loose especially if there's nothing invested so far. She asked for mo' money, she got no money.

The next one came from the Cousin Willy and GonZo collection. As usual Willy has a girl who wants to shoot in the middle of the night, and GonZo is more than willing to oblige. She's an 18 year old cutie, but she only wants to do topless. Ok, fine, that limits the potential, but we can still appreciate a young supple set of breasts without having to see the entire package.

So fine, we can deal with all of this, she shows up for the test shoot though and suddenly decides she doesn't wanna take her shirt off free. This is a money play, lots of girls do this one, they try to wag the dog. They'll agree to whatever, show up, but then make a play for more money figuring since you're already there, have paid for a location, got the lights setup, etc, she'll get what she wants. Again, you ask for mo' money, you get no money.

We've long since learned to walk in those cases. Losing a few hours of our time and a couple of hundred bucks for a location and such is better than getting held up every time you try to shoot the girl.

We have one other to tell you about, this one has been teasing us for months about going to work for us, but instead she keeps doing stuff for free that we cant use. It's complicated, but that's another story for later this week.

Katelyn's Cove has changed

Just to keep you updated, we've changed Katelyn's Cove from the single site that's been there, to an entry page for another site. This was done for Katelyn's sake as stated earlier.

We're still in the process of uploading her pictures and videos here, but you guys are in for a treat when you get to see her.

First, take care of the paying customers

We've moved 4 sets of pictures over so far, with many more on the way. They are being put into the members section first (which is still wide open and free to all), then once those are in we'll get the non-members gallery set up and looking proper.

If you've ever joined another paysite, and I know you have, you might have noticed that the content for members sometimes would take a back seat to updates that were available for the rest of the world. Ever wonder why? For most site operators it's more important to bring in new customers than it is to retain existing ones, so it's logical that the "tour" would be kept as fresh as possible.

We've always done things the opposite of that, members always see new content first, always. There's a couple of reasons for this. The obvious one is standard business school stuff, the customer is king. A king wouldn't accept being second in line for something, so why should a paying customer?

The less obvious reason has to do with the fantasy that's built around an amateur site. For the surfer, this girl is really doing her own website, either totally on her own or with the help of a friend. Of course she'd be more interested in updating content for her users, they're the ones she interacts with and who are paying her bills! So in addition to being good customer service, it's also good to do it this way to keep the fantasy alive.

Fact: Women Are Crazy

If you're a guy, you're straight, and you do not spend all of your time in your mom's basement playing video games and watching the SciFi channel, you already know this. Now imagine trying to do business with them where the business requires they get naked in front of strangers and let them take pictures.

So you think "porn" is fun because you get to see beautiful naked women pose for you? Here's the other side, you have to stay calm, cool and professional while dealing with these highly emotional creatures and their problems.

• "I cant pose in that, it makes my ass look fat...." -- they'll be bare ass naked in 10 minutes, but they're worried about how the wardrobe shapes their ass.
  
• "Oh, you mean I was supposed to bring wardrobe today?" -- always always always have some stuff for the model to pose in no matter what she promises to bring, and never assume they're smart enough to pack undies to match each outfit.
  
• "I'm really hung over from a party I went to last night, can we postpone til tomorrow?" -- this one inevitably comes 60 minutes before the time the shoot is to begin right after you've finished setting up all the lights in whatever location you've already rented for the day.
• "I dont mind you taking pics, but I dont want a website or people will think I'm a slut..." -- We literally heard this one just a couple of weeks ago after shooting a girl masturbating herself, sucking off 4 guys and fucking one on camera.
• "My boyfriend is getting jealous, I dont want to do this anymore..." -- This one almost ALWAYS shows up at about the 8-12 week mark after they've been paid a lot of money but before their site has had a chance to make a dime of it back.
• "No one will see these pics will they?" -- You'd be shocked how often we hear this one, usually right after we've explained that we're taking the pics to publish on our websites.
• "If we do the shower set will I get my hair wet?" -- I swear, it's easier to talk a model into doing double anal than it is to get her into the shower and get her hair wet.

Open Beta

Closed Beta testing has been completed, now it's time for anyone who stumbles across the site to look around and see what they think.

Katelyn's Cove is dead, long live Katelyn's Cove!

Finally got a chance to speak to Katelyn about what's going on, and while I can't get into details on why she wants to quit I'm convinced she has a good reason for it.

Here's where we're different from most other companies that are in this business, we're actually going to remove a working, established paysite that has a membership base. Do we have to do this? Hell no, but under the circumstances it's the right thing to do for her.

Over the next few days we'll be moving all of her pictures over to BTS to be included as membership content for you. Off the top of my head I don't know how many pictures this will be, but it's in the thousands.

Postage Stamps

We receive a lot of applications from potential models, most of which we can rule out immediately for one reason or another. The ones we are interested in though start going through our screening process where we ask a series of questions to gauge their interest level and try to see how comfortable they are with their bodies. We also want to learn if they just want to do a "one-time" gig or if they'd like to become a regular.

Part of this process is getting pictures from the girls. Back in the old days this was a real pain and we usually just skipped this step and had them come into the studio for an interview where we'd do an initial photo shoot. These days though just about everyone has a digital camera so it's usually not a problem to get them to snap off a few nudes of themselves and email them to us.

Usually.

Right now we're interested in a potential Asian model who's description and pictures look quite promising. We've seen her face (cute as hell) and her body in clothes (hard to tell, but she's thin), but haven't seen her either nude or in undies. She's willing to send us a picture but the only camera she has is the one in her cell phone.

Yes, I said she was Asian.

So she sends us a couple of pictures and they are the size of postage stamps. Seriously, they are 40x30 sized pics. Not only that, she's not even close to naked in either of them.

Do we risk wasting our time and set up a meeting with her anyway, or keep after her until she provides the pictures we've requested. After all, if she's not willing to strip for her own camera then why would we think she'd be comfortable stripping for us?
